Dorado's hybrid outboards will be the world’s first outboard engines powered by supercapacitor technology used in hybrid vehicles such as the Lamborghini Sian to provide surreal power and fuel efficiency along with significantly better range compared to pure electric and diesel outboard engines. Unlike pure electric outboards, Dorado hybrids do not require rechargers when the battery charge is low due to Dorado’s unique hybrid design with supercapacitor charging. Dorado outboards are also the first outboard to have integrated EL technology enabling illumination at night.
